Terms & Conditions

Credit Card Authorization and Guarantee Policy

To ensure the smooth processing of your reservation, all bookings must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of reservation. At check-in, your credit card will be authorized for the total amount of your stay, including any applicable fees such as pet fees or additional services.

Credit Card Authorization Process:

  1. If the credit card authorization applied at the time of booking has expired by the time of your arrival, we will reauthorize the full amount of your stay, including any additional fees, to your credit card.

  2. If the credit card authorization from your booking remains valid upon your arrival, no further action will be taken.

  3. In the event of changes to your reservation on the day of arrival:

No changes or add-ons: The original authorization will be captured and processed at check-out.

Changes or add-ons to your reservation: The original authorization will be voided, and any adjustments to your charges will be applied to your credit card at check-out.

This process helps minimize the risk of multiple charges or credits and reduces transaction fees for both guests and the hotel.

Forms of Payment:
While we require a credit card for reservation guarantees, you may choose to use any other form of payment upon checkout.

For any inquiries regarding this policy, please feel free to reach out to our front desk.

PROPERTY AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Upon check-in, you will have received an SMS text message from our hotel management system requesting guest arrival information. All guests are required to provide valid government-issued identification, like a driver’s license or passport. If you would prefer to check-in at the front desk, please provide an arrival time so that we can be available to greet you! Some room rates, like our active military discount, may require further identification. Check-in is at 3 p.m. PST and check-out time is at 11 a.m. PST.

If you would like to request late check-out, please contact us on the day of your departure and we will confirm based on availability. Late check-out is available for an additional $25 per hour (up to three hours) after 11 a.m. For example: If you’d like to check out two hours late, at 1 p.m., the additional fee would be $50.

If you’d like to check-out earlier than 11 a.m., that’s fine! Please text us “Goodbye” when you leave so that our housekeeping team may attend to your room. If you have a great stay, we’d love to hear about it! As a small business, we really appreciate guest reviews.

CANCELLATION

Cancellation requests for a full refund will be granted if communicated to The Orenco Hotel by 3:00 p.m. PST a minimum of 72 hours (3 days) prior to your arrival date. A cancellation fee equal to one-night stay plus tax will be charged for reservations cancelled within 72 hours of arrival. No refund will be granted for reservations cancelled after 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.

SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY

Service animals are welcome at TheOrenco! In compliance with the Department of Justice ADA regulations, a service animal is defined as “a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability.” The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability.

Emotional Support Animal (ESA) “companion” and “comfort” dogs are not service animals protected by the ADA and are subject to our standard hotel pet policy (allowed only in Courtyard King rooms, $20/night charge). If you have a pet that is not a service animal, we respectfully request that you honor the good work of service animals by not claiming that your pet is a service animal. Please review our Service Animal Agreement for our full policy.

Service Animal Agreement

This policy has been developed in partnership with the Oregon Restaurant and Lodging Association and in compliance with the Department of Justice Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations to ensure that all of our guests have an enjoyable stay.

Our Policy

  • Service animals must be housebroken.
  • Service animals must never be left unattended in guest rooms.
  • When a service animal is outside of the guest room:
    ○ It must always be under the control of its handler, and
    ○ It must have a harness, leash, or other tether, unless either the handler is unable because of a disability to use such a device or use of it would interfere with the service animal’s safe, effective performance of work or tasks, in which case the service animal must be otherwise under the handler’s control (e.g., voice control, signals, or other effective means).
  • It is grounds for eviction if a service animal is threatening people, barking,
or otherwise out of control and/or creating a disturbance, and the dog’s
handler does not take prompt and effective action to control it.

By signing this document, I acknowledge and agree to all the policies above. I also
agree that should any of these policies be violated, I may be subject to immediate
eviction without any refund. I further agree to reimburse the property for any
damages caused by my service animal. I authorize charges to my payment card for
any such liability and/or damages, and I acknowledge that I shall in any event
remain personally liable for the same.

Pet Policy

At TheOrenco, we’re happy to welcome furry friends! To ensure that all of our guests have an enjoyable and relaxing experience, we ask that you take the time to read through our Pet Policy and adhere to the following rules. For service animals, please review our Service Animal Policy.

Our pet fee is $20/night, and pets are only allowed in our Courtyard King hotel rooms. With your pet fee, we provide the use of a dog bed, dog bowl, dog towel (for muddy paws), and a few yummy dog treats from Trader Joe’s!

  • Please be a responsible pet owner and clean up after your pet. Let us know if you need supplies—the park is just 73 feet away!
  • Please utilize the complimentary dog bed, not our fancy linens, for your pet to lay. Allowing your pet to lay on our linens may result in additional cleaning fees to remove the pet hair.
  • Pets must be well-behaved and house-trained.
  • Do not leave your pet unattended in the hotel room! Anxious pets often bark when left alone, ruining the quiet enjoyment of our other guests.
  • Pets are not allowed in common areas of TheOrenco—only your room and private courtyard.

By signing this document, I acknowledge and agree to all the policies above. I also agree that should any of these policies be violated, I may be subject to immediate eviction without any refund. I further agree to reimburse the property for any damages caused by my pet. I authorize charges to my payment card for any such liability and/or damages, and I acknowledge that I shall in any event remain personally liable for the same.
